Early Monday morning Tiger Woods announced via his website that Elin has given birth to a baby girl, Sam Alexis Woods (pictures to follow shortly on www.tigerwoods.com ).
This announcement comes just hours after tiger was unable to close at the 107th US Open making him 0-29 in coming from behind to win a major. The birth of his daughter will surely shift and tweak Tiger’s priorities and he has made very clear that his number one priority is in fact his little girl.
As a tiger fan I could not have asked for a more perfect day for her to be born.
A) What better to lift the emotions of finishing second than to receive a daughter B) on the heels of Fathers Day and C) this timely birth should give Tiger enough time to prepare and defend his title at Carnoustie.
Congrats Tiger and Elin.
